SENS series flashlights feature Active Dimming Technology (ADT), offering 5-8 times more runtime compared to competing products. An acceleration sensor is built into every SENS series flashlight, which continuously detects the angle of the light causing the light's micro-processor to select the appropriate output. For example, when it detects a parallel position, the light will assume a higher output is appropriate and increase output to illuminate a longer distance. When it detects a vertical position it will decrease output to save battery life. This feature can also be disabled when not required.
