The Nitecore EDC17 EU ultra slim flashlight has a maximum output of 1500 lumens from the NiteLab UHi 25 LED and a range of up to 230 meters. The EDC17 EU is powered by a built-in 1500mAh Li-ion battery which can provide up to 260 hours of runtime and is USB-C rechargeable. Power indicator lights on the side of the EDC17 display the remaining battery power, with flashing indicator when power is below 10%.

This next-generation flashlight is engineered for ultimate versatility, featuring three powerful light sources — White Light, UV Light, and a Class 1 Green Laser. The UV light delivers up to 1350mW of output, ensuring exceptional signal penetration for deeper, longer-range, and more precise detection. Meanwhile, the <0.39mW green laser offers bright, efficient visibility, making it ideal for outdoor guidance, task indication, and a variety of other applications. UV light is useful for a wide range of applications including document verification and leak detection.

The EDC17 features a detachable high-hardness silicon nitride ceramic tip, for quick glass breaking.

Advanced Temperature Regulation (ATR) adjusts the output of the EDC17 based on the working and ambient temperatures. This feature ensures that the device maintains optimal performance while preventing the LED from overheating. The output measurements account for the total runtime, including periods of reduced brightness due to temperature changes or built-in protection mechanisms, which may cause the brightness level to drop

Maximum beam distance 230 meters, waterproof to IPX7 and resistant to impacts up to 2 meters.
