30/03/2024Another happy purchase, bought the edc633 just a few weeks ago, only to find out about the EDC35. However, although the the 35 is supposed to be an incremental upgrade, which it is from a features standpoint, it feels more substantial in the hand and despite being brighter, in my use cases, the battery life lasts longer. So I can see a reason to keep both lights for different scenarios.

The Nitecore EDC35 flashlight has a maximum output of 5000 lumens from the NiteLab UHi 40 MAX LED and is powered by a built-in 21700 li-ion battery. Rechargeable via USB-C, the charging port sits beneath the rotary protection cover at the head of the light.
Only the 2nd of it’s kind in the lighting industry, the UHi 40 MAX LED is a professionally crafted unit with a multi-core integrated design for superior performance. It combines a small but high-intensity main core with 8 auxiliary cores arrayed together into a single LED, offering long-range coverage, extreme brightness and the ability to seamlessly switch between spot and floodlight. With a Supreme White Colour Consistency processing, it emits a pure, soft white light.
The Lumin Shield™ offers an impressive 5000 lumen maximum output, described as a “broad light wall” and the 3000 lumen Search output provides a spotlight beam with a maximum distance of 550 meters. The torch has a built-in optical sensor which detects an obstruction ahead at close distance and automatically decreases the brightness to avoid overheating.
The torch features a seamless Rapid Lock™ to prevent accidental activation. Slide the switch for instant access to full lockout mode or slide the switch whilst pressing the tactical tail button for half lockout mode. Half lockout mode is ideal for personal safety and vigilance, providing access to the Search and Lumin Shield outputs.
The EDC35 is engineered from 7000 series military grade aluminium, offering exceptional durability and a sturdy build. Paired with a 1mm deep textured finish, it also provides excellent grip during use. The torch comes with the Nitecore NTH32 tactical holster for safe storage, in addition to a large hole deep carry pocket (DCP) clip and a 550 paracord.
