The Nitecore P17iX is a high-performance tactical flashlight designed for professional users who require exceptional output, versatility, and reliability in demanding environments. Powered by four NiteLab M515S LEDs, it delivers an impressive maximum output of 5,000 lumens and a beam distance of up to 330 meters, providing outstanding visibility for tactical operations, search-and-rescue missions, and outdoor applications.

To adapt to a wide range of scenarios, the P17iX features three distinct beam patterns. Search Mode produces a focused long-range beam that is ideal for locating subjects and scanning open areas, while the Floodlight Mode provides illumination for close-range tasks, reducing blind spots and minimising harsh reflections from nearby surfaces. Both Floodlight and Mixed Light modes offer an approximate 125° beam angle for enhanced area coverage. Mixed Light Mode combines the benefits of both flood and throw illumination, making it suitable for everything from wide-area searches to close-quarters operations, with a beam distance of up to 243 metres. The variable-frequency Strobe Mode operates between 16Hz and 20Hz, creating a powerful deterrent effect for defensive and tactical situations.

The flashlight is powered by a high-capacity 5,500mAh battery, delivering up to 100 hours of runtime. When recharging is required, the integrated 18W USB-C fast-charging system can fully recharge the torch in approximately two hours, helping to minimise downtime and keep the light mission-ready.

Designed for quick and efficient operation, the P17iX incorporates Nitecore's dual-stage tactical tail switch system. The Tail Button controls power, brightness adjustment, and tactical momentary illumination, with a half press providing access to Low and Mid modes and a full press activating High and Turbo modes. This configuration allows users to customise and instantly access their preferred output levels. The dedicated Engage Button can be independently configured for both half-press and full-press activation, allowing immediate access to Lumin Shield, Strobe Mode, or Search Mode. A side-mounted SET Button further expands functionality by providing access to four brightness levels, Warning Flash, Basic Mode, and Professional Mode.

Its anti-grab design enables seamless switching between momentary illumination and sustained high-output lighting without repositioning the thumb, ensuring secure one-handed operation during high-intensity situations.

Built for durability, the P17iX features an IP68 waterproof rating and impact resistance up to 2 metres, making it suitable for use in harsh weather and challenging environments. A convenient slide-lock switch prevents accidental activation during storage or transport, protecting battery life and ensuring the flashlight is ready when needed.
