The Nitecore NL1840AW All-Weather Li-ion Battery has a 4,000mAh capacity. It is designed to operate reliably in extreme environments, providing continuous power at temperatures as low as -40°C (-40°F) and at altitudes of up to 10,000 meters. With an ultra-high energy density of 288mWh/g, the NL1840AW delivers 14.4Wh of energy, equivalent to approximately four CR123A batteries.

The NL1840AW incorporates multiple built-in safety features for reliable and secure operation. A pressure-relief valve is activated in the event of a rapid temperature increase, while the intelligent protective circuit integrated into the positive terminal provides protection against overcharging, over-discharging, and short circuits. Nickel-plated steel protectors at both ends of the battery offer excellent impact and oxidation resistance, helping to safeguard the battery contacts. The integrated injection-moulded positive terminal further enhances water and impact resistance, reducing the risk of short circuits and protecting the battery from damage.

The NL1840AW is compatible with a range of Nitecore headlamps, including the UT6, HC60 UHE, and HC65 UHE, as well as flashlights such as the MT2C Pro. With a rated lifespan of more than 500 charge cycles, the battery provides a cost-effective and dependable power solution for repeated use.

The Nitecore NL1840AW also features an IPX6 waterproof rating.
