The Nitecore NU53 industrial headlamp has a maximum output of 1800 lumens from the 8 x NiteLab UHE LEDs and is powered by a built-in 6000mAh li-ion battery. The light is rechargeable via USB-C and is compatible with QC fast charging to achieve maximum 16W charging power (QC power adapter not included).

The head torch offers triple light sources, including a primary white light, a high CRI auxiliary white light and an auxiliary red light. The main white light has a 6000K cool white beam temperature and offers impressive output and range, whilst the high CRI white light is ideal for close-up illumination, providing accurate colour rendition and reducing eye strain. The red can be used for signalling, night operations and in emergencies.

The light is operated by a dual button interface. Both switches have different shapes and textures to allow for smooth one-handed operation, even if wearing gloves. The power button turns the light on, off and adjusts the brightness levels and the mode button switches between the light sources.

Lightweight and compact, the NU53 is made up of stamped aluminium alloy on the front and special PC plastic on the back, making it durable yet easily transportable at only 151g. It comes with a 32mm widened headband with a hollow design for lightweight and comfort, plus reflective strips for visibility and a sweat-diverting silicone strip.

The NU53 has a range of safety features including a sensor protection function which automatically decreases the brightness when an obstruction is detected, plus lockout mode and a transportation design of turning the lamp upward to prevent accidental activation. The head torch is reliable in harsh working conditions, including high or low temperatures and high humidity.

Advanced temperature regulation (ATR) regulates the output of the NU53 according to the working and ambient temperature to maintain optimal performance while preventing the LED from overheating. The outputs are measured in total of runtime, including output at reduced levels due to temperature or protection mechanisms in the design, causing the brightness level to drop down.

Maximum beam distance 175 meters, waterproof to IP68 and resistant to impacts up to 2 meters.
